Nominee's Accomplishments at the High School Level in Kentucky:
Earl Pearson excelled in multiple sports such as Football, Basketball and Track at High and State Street High Schools. He was named to the All State Team in the East 41 Region located in Western KY and lettered all three years. He attended Bowling Green State University on a full scholarship one of the first Black recruits and players for the school and lettered all four years. He furthered his higher education at Fell Institute on the campus of Temple University.
