Nominee's Accomplishments at the High School Level in Kentucky:
Dickie Parsons was a four-sport star while at Harlan High School. He quarterbacked for the football team, ran the 880 in track, was a baseball standout and was a star gaurd on the baskeball team. He was second team All-State in basketball his senior year. In football, he was All-State 2nd Team his senior year. He was also an outstanding shortstop for the baseball team his senior year and went on to become an All-American at the University of Kentucky.
