Montgomery County THE GATEWAY HOLIDAY CLASSIC at Montgomery County High School is looking to complete the field of 8 teams.

There will be eight boys teams and eight girls teams in the tournament. Each team will be guaranteed three games in a traditional winner's bracket/loser's bracket format. Games will be played in the new MCHS Arena and in The Barn. Both are excellent venues for games to be played.

Teams are guaranteed $750 and are given t-shirts and several meals. Coaches are also given a gift. Each team is provided an ambassador who is a local business person to answer any questions and make sure your team has what it needs. A hospitality room is provided for coaches and staff. Trophies are given to the tournament champion and runner up. Plaques are given to the members of the all-tournament team.

Tournament dates are Saturday, Dec. 27, Sunday the 28th, and Monday the 29th. We are working with the local church associations to provide a worship service on Sunday morning for any team that wishes to participate.

Shelby County Shelby County High school will be hosting the American Founders Bank Rocket Invitational. The tournament will be held December 27, 29, 30 2008. There will be an eight team field and all programs are guaranteed three games.
There will be first and second place trophies, a third place plaque, and an 11 person all-tournament team that will include an MVP.

There will be a hospitality room for coaches, school administrators, and game officials. Each team will also be receive 20 tournament t-shirts, 10 passes for support staff, and head coaches will receive gift bags.

Clay County Clay County will once again host The Big Red Shoot-Out in honor of legendary and former Clay County Coach, William “Big Red” Campbell.

The dates are December 29-31, 2008. We are looking for 3 teams to join host Clay County in a 3-day round robin tournament. Each team will get 3 varsity games and we also offer opportunities to play JV games. We offer rooms or a travel stipend to all teams along with t-shirts and a coach’s gift. We also provide practice times and local restaurants have provided great discounts for your teams.

We will schedule the games on the 31st in the early afternoon so as to allow teams to arrive home early enough that night to celebrate the new year.
