Grayson County The Grayson County Lady Cougar Golf team will be hosting a girls golf tournament on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at the Lafayette Golf and Country Club just outside of Leitchfield. Cost of the event will be $200 per team. It is our intention to award all state points for this event. Awards will be presented to the top three teams and the top five individuals. The tourney will have a 1:00 PM CST shotgun start. Field will be limited to the first 14 teams. Lunch will be provided to players and coaches.

Madison Central Any girls’ golf team that would like to compete against other novice teams are invited to a tournament at Battlefield Golf Course, Richmond, Kentucky. This is a tournament that allows the girls who do not normally participate in highly competitive tournaments a chance to play 18 holes in a tournament setting.

Cost is $210 for a team of 5, $40 for an individual player(s). Shotgun starts at 9:00 AM, Concessions available, Trophies for 1st and 2nd place team and 1st,2nd,and 3rd place individual, each girl will receive a gift bag and a free lunch.

Open to the first 20 teams, half of which must come from outside the 3rd region. All-state points will be awarded. Individual and team awards, lunch and t shirts also provided.
