FIFTH THIRD/KHSAA STATE BASEBALL THIS WEEK

The 2007 Fifth Third/KHSAA State Baseball Tournament is scheduled for Wednesday through Saturday, June 13-16 at Applebee’s Park in Lexington. Quarterfinal play begins at 6 and 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday and continues through Saturday with the championship game scheduled for 7 p.m. (ET).

Tickets are on sale now through the Applebee’s Park Box Office. General admission tickets are $8 each for advance tickets (through Tuesday, June 12) or $10 at the gate. General Home Plate Club (behind the plate) will be $12 per night (advance or walk-up) or $40 for all four nights. Those under 3 will not be required to have a ticket. Tickets can be purchased online by using the link posted under “Hot News” on the khsaa website at www.khsaa.org.

Gates will open at 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and at 6 p.m. on Saturday.

All games of the tournament will be broadcast live by WVLK-FM 101.5 and online at www.khsaa.org. Gary Ball and Doug Flynn will call all the action on the Rawlings Radio Network..
