•Unnecessary Roughness involves physical acts that occur during wrestling:
•It includes any acts, which exceeds normal aggressiveness.
•Referees must focus on the degree of force applied and penalize the applier when the action goes beyond normal aggressiveness.
•A Slam is lifting and returning an opponent to the mat with unnecessary force.
•A slam is an illegal hold that shall be called without hesitation by the referee.
•A slam can occur from any wrestling position.
